Read Genesis 1:26-31 God created man.
"Because of your little faith," Jesus told them. "For if you had faith even as small as a tiny mustard seed you could say to this mountain,'Move!' and it would go far away. Nothing would be impossible. Matthew 18:20 (TLB)
Reece Martin lives in Texas. In the summer of 2018, he spent a week backpacking in Colorado with his discipleship group. They hiked over 40 miles to reach a mountain that they would summit the final day. On the morning of the summit, they woke up at 5:30 a.m. to see the sunrise. They climbed for what seemed like hours, and as Reece climbed over the last bit of rock, he looked out over the horizon. All around him were mountains and valleys. As he looked at the vast landscape, he couldn't help but feel small. All his problems and struggles felt small too.
At that moment Reece thought, How often do I let my struggles hold me down even when I know God is there? Sadly, more often than Reece would care to admit. So when Reece feels like he can't get away from his problems, he remembers the feeling of being on top of a mountain, surrounded by God's grace. If God is capable of creating mountains and valleys, we have nothing to fear. No problem is too big for God.
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for your love and compassion. Help us to remember that you are greater than all our struggles, in Jesus' name. Amen.
